DJ Turntables
Acting as a DJ is in essence a musical performance. One of the key pieces to this performance is DJ turntables. DJ turntables give DJs a musical transition between songs. They are also used for mixing music and sounds. Turntables that play vinyl records are used by the DJ for scratching and creating a variety of noises.
By creating their own sounds, DJs are creating a one of a kind soundtrack for their audience. Instead of simply playing music, the DJ turntable becomes a musical instrument in the hands of a master DJ. Manipulating the sounds coming out of the turntable by controlling the speed of the turntable, the way the needle plays the record and using the grooves of the record to entertain the audience for the greatest effect are the hallmarks of a master DJ.
